1937 Graduated from the Kagawa Polytechnic School
1938 Moved to Tokyo and joined Ichiro Fukuzawa's institute of painting
1944 Worked at Toho Pictures Educational Film Department until 1949
1946 Formed "Avant-Garde Art Society" with Ryosaku Takayama, Mutsumi Otsuka and others
1949 Became a member of the Art and Culture Association, but resigned the following year
1952 Participated in the struggle against the dam in Ogawachi Village. Thereafter, involved in the Matsukawa Trial, the Security Treaty Struggle, and the Sayama Trial, etc.
1986 Passed away aged 67
